Even though I am the writer and face “behind” the blog, it takes more than my effort to make MakeUpTip everything it is today. First, my boyfriend handles the back-end tasks for MakeUpTip is web design, coding/programming, managing our servers, editing videos, and other technical details. Big deal, you know! All that code would make me dizzy! Then there are my parents and family, who lend me tremendous moral support, and without such, I think I might have given up somewhere along the line. But also? You! Without the people who read, comment, and participate on the blog, there just wouldn’t be a blog. It wouldn’t be where it is today nor would it have a future. I just feel it’s shortsighted to say me, me, me, because I feel like we’re a community and it’s WE, WE, WE!

She’s always dressed in the latest, cutest trends - and Miley Cyrus has decided to clean out her closet for a good cause. It was recently announced that the “Last Song” actress will auction off her clothing and accessories on eBay with proceeds to benefit “Get Ur Good On,” a social network aimed at connecting youth with volunteer and service opportunities in and around their communities. In a video message posted on the “Get Ur Good On” website, Miley says, "For me I get this amazing blessing and opportunity to do this every day and get up on stage and hopefully
inspire people with my music and that's something that's really important to me, but so is getting involved in charities." "There's amazing charities right here in America. You don't have to travel 30 hours ... you don't have to give a billion dollars. It's not about how much or how far, it's about looking at your neighbors and seeing how you can help," Cyrus adds. "This isn't just stuff that's all over the world, it's right here, it's right next to you. It's important to get involved." The clothing auction is scheduled to take place later this month.

The “Can’t Be Tamed” songstress recently told press that she hopes girls still look up to her as she becomes more mature. “I want to be a role model and have people look up to me, but this also doesn’t mean that I am not going to live the way that I want to live. I’m going to grow up at some point, and I’ve been always honest about that.” As for her schooling, Cyrus says she’s done for now. “My sister went to college for two years
and then decided she wants to be a musician and now she is a musician. I just already know what I want to do and if there is ever a time where I want to go back, I can. I learned that from my grandma. She went to college at 67 and graduated at 70 and was a teacher from then. She’s 77 now, so you can go whenever you want.”

Miley continues, "Even though she's a pop artist, I look at her videos and I don't see a squeaky pop singer or perky all the time. Her stuff means real things, so she's cool. I like her."
